Sad Mac
My Mac has, for the third time today, completely locked up. The first two times I returned to the machine to find it with a black screen and not accepting input, as if it was asleep (though the lid was open). Just now it kernel panicked and I was forced to reboot.
I thought it was related to the recent Safari update as it was Safari that seemed to lock it up, but now I'm not so sure.
I really hope this isn't a sign of bigger problems.

Argh, maybe it is a broken Mac then.
I propped it up with a pen, like how you and Hale do to increase air flow under the battery area, and it’s been cooler. Maybe it doesn’t like sitting on my desk plugged into the charger.
Maybe it’s the larger hard drives being hotter ?
I’ve been thinking about considering looking at a permanent raised thing with fan for my laptop. I find that it cuts into my wrist if I don’t raise it slightly and I think there are some cool options last time I looked. I just never end up spending enough time on it.
