At approximately 10:30AM today the Aurora Stock Server’s database became corrupt. This caused system-wide database issues.

The table that was causing the problems had over 7.5 million records, each recording an instance in which data had been served. This table crashed, and as incoming requests piled up the database server was having difficulty handling the increased load. I’ve since altered the stock server code and we no longer log each data request.

I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that our clients would have experienced during this outage, and precautions have been taken to ensure that this kind of outage does not occur again.

There was no data loss during this period, and all services have been successfully restored.
