For those of us with Macs, this is the best media plugin you’ll find around.

It adds a whole range of codecs to Apple’s Quicktime Player, meaning that you can thumbnail (and Quickview, for Leopard users) AVI and WMV files now too.

It’s very simple to install (download the DMG file, it’ll mount, double-click the Swiss army knife icon) and works exactly as advertised.
