Walking like a man, hitting like a hammer

... She's got the look. And so does lambie.org.

It came time again to change up the look and feel, and this is what caught my eye over at themes.wordpress.net.

My previous theme, Blix, didn't display the pages correctly after I upgraded to Wordpress 2.1.3 in an effort to avoid spam. Rather than hack a fix back into the code, I fell back to the old addage that a change is as good as a holiday. I hope you like the new look.

Thanks Roxette for the inspiration.

Possibly 1408 times better than the last look. Excellent!

I’m having trouble reading this theme. I’ll surely get used to it but I think fonts and sizes could be tweaked a bit.

In your 1984 post, the subheadings came out the same size as the post heading.

On adam’s respose above, I couldn’t immediately pick out what he had written versus the timestamp of his response.

With our corporate powerpoint templates, they have a white background version for reading on the screen and a black background version if you are putting it on a projector. I’d agree that the white backgrounds easier on the eyes but don’t look as “high tech”.

In the 1984 post I put heading tags in to differentiate the questions from the answers. On my Mac they’re very similar but not the same as the post title.

Same goes for reply text vs. timestamping information… it looks very similar but is actually a different font.

To be honest, I didn’t try the theme in any browser outside of Firefox on Mac.
