Byron's last day 4

Yesterday was Byron’s last day with The Frontier Group. He had been working with us two days a week for the last few months on secondment from ZoomIT. He was offered a job by his former employer that was too good to refuse, and as such he wasn’t available to us anymore.

Hopefully we’ll get the chance to work together in the future; Byron’s been a role-model of sorts since I first entered the IT industry ten years ago.

On behalf of everyone here at TFG - best of luck and you’ll be missed.

You know htings are busy when… 5

You don’t open your “Daily” bookmarks for over a week.

Things move so fast in Internet land that not taking the time to keep up-to-date can be costly.

Update: 2:44PM
And when you spell “things” “htings” in the title.

GO3 Electronic Expo 0

Starting this Friday is the GO3 Electronic Expo. It’s going to be pretty cool. Friday’s the trade day so there won’t be stacks of kiddies running around, and if you can get the morning off then I’ll see you there.

My boss is pretty cool so I won’t have a problem getting the time off ;)

LSHS 10-year reunion; class of ‘97 13

I just got a call from Sarah Loughrey regarding the organisation of our 10 year reunion. Whoa.

She’s going to email me with details, and I’ll pass on any information to her about the movements of people that I still keep in touch with. So far it’s penciled in for October 20th.

Dear Nissan Australia,

Including a stop watch in the 350Z’s onboard trip computer, it could be claimed, is only asking for laws to be broken. Or bent.

Or maybe I would have shaved a whole minute off if I hadn’t been stuck at the lights coming off the freeway near the Convention Centre.

Sincerely yours

Matt

P.S. Where’s the 450Z, and the power bulge looks crap.
