The saints never came

U2 and Greenday have partnered for “The Saints are Coming”, a tune that really tugs at your heart strings… especially when you see the images in the video clip.

I literally get choked up watching that.

I thought of a bunch of nasty things I could say in retaliation, but I decided the best revenge was leaving your comment be and letting people judge you further.

Haha.. the good ol’ Hale comment.

I swear you’re a cyborg, or some heartless human who doesnt express emotions and feelings if it comes across less manly.

I think it’s admirable that the two bands have hooked up to produce this song, and have come up with a creative way of getting their message across through the clip.
It irritates me when celebrities like these guys are accused of doing what they do just for PR, to win more fans. Fortunately I haven’t heard that claim made about Green Day and U2 yet.

Actually that song didn’t do much for me… And the video clip doesn’t seem that great, although YouTube does have a problem of bad quality (both video and audio) which is a bit of a shame (considering the amount of peeps with decent connections these days.

At first I kind of didn’t think much about the whole Katrina thing, but I read an article on the plane I think, which made much more of a difference to my attitudes and interest in the situation. It’s just odd/weird/sad that it took 6-8 years for the majority of US citizens to figure out Bush :)
