Adam and I had lunch in a local cafe and they were playing an old Robbie Williams album "Sing When You're Winning". It brought back some fond memories and I thought I'd listen to it when I got back in the office.

I logged into my media server at home and checked but it's not an album I have in digital format. Infact, I started to wonder if I ever had it. I know that Laura left a copy at my parent's place many moons ago, but that's no good. I checked a few torrent sites but they were no good.

So I fired up iTunes and connected to the music store. There were three different copies of the album available (I'm guessing the UK, Australian and some other) so I picked the one I wanted and bought it. I had to sign up for an account, which took a few seconds and then the content was coming down.

By the time the first tune was finished playing, I'd downloaded the whole album. Sure, we're on a pretty fast (20 megabit, I think we get about 8 megabit throughput) link, but that's not the point.

When Apple make things so easy it's almost stupid not to use their services. I feel myself falling further and further into the realm of Apple.

Ohh, and while you're at it, download Darren Hayes' new tune and make a donation for kids suffering with HIV. I paid 5 bucks, and last night he mentioned on Rove that he's matching donations dollar for dollar. Nice guy.
