Generic update

I had a pretty good weekend.

For the second week in a row I ran home from the city drunk. It's a good way to get exercise, burning off the carbs (beer) I hope.

I went to Daniel's buck's party at Sandgate and had a few brews while enjoying conversation with some nude women. Time to think about planning Dij's buck's I think...

11-12_months_Pic_113Here's a cool snap from my pool party last month. I'm really attached to Lennon.

He's the coolest :)

We had breakfast with Luke, Nic, Cindy and Shannon on Saturday at Embers in Gooseberry Hill. It was a great start to the weekend and a refreshing change. Yesterday we had breakfast with Mark and Emma at their place. Today was breakfast at Farrell's. Three from three.

I built some more Lego robots over the weekend. I find it's quite relaxing. They're currently standing on my desk and look quite menacing. In a cool idea, you can download building instructions for two other robots which are made by combining two of the four sets with each other. As I have all four now I could build both of the other robots, but I'll leave that for another time. I just thought it was a good idea on Lego's part. If I didn't work for TFG I'd want to work for Lego.

2068105292_1Speaking of Lego, my shirt came in the mail today. It combines two of my favourite things: Lego and technology. The character is Steve Wozniak, the creator of the first Apple computer.

The shirt's huge - maybe XL was a bit on the excessive side!

I should point out that it's a genuine 6500 chip (as used in the Apple I and Atari 2600) attached to the shirt with a magnet. It needs to be removed for each wash. The washing instructions indicate that there was three suppliers of the chips, and that they can't guarantee what device each chip came out of, like people only want a 6500 that was in an Apple, or something.

Geeky to the max!

lol, parties in general are always good :-) but running home drunk, well i cant say i’ve done that before but i have walked home from a party drunk and bare footed since i lost my shoes. seemed like it took hours but it only took about 50 minutes or something :-( hehe

Oh and under 2 days to go ’till i find out if i get this great new job up there in Perth :-D should be great if i get it.

Matt - if i get this job, hurry up and move in the floor above us, hehe, would be great. Gotta catch up for a drink or two if i move up there as well.

Anyway, food is ready, take care.

    Cheers,

Doesn’t look like we’ll be taking that office space I think - it’s extra costs for not much extra gain. Unless we can sublease it out, in which case it might be the same expense.

It’d be good, but it won’t be the end of the world if we don’t get it.

I think it’s time for a classic commercial from the early eighties:

    Steve Wozniak in his Z

Oh i see, well more office space for Chris and the crew :-P i cant believe they even have a shower within that building, kinda sweet ey.

Anyway, even if you dont take that office space, it would be still good to catch up for more than a few minutes soon :-)

    Cheers,

    That’s *awesome* Jack :)

Those Z ads are so frickin’ cool. I remember you showing me the “Major Motion” ones before - too funny.

I’d love to see some old Supra ads.

It’s better to be running home drunk than running away from a booze bus drunk (with your car blocking the road)!

    :)
