Westnet ups the download limit

Just days after I got my ADSL connected, Westnet has increased the download limit for each of their ADSL plans. Their My Account page doesn't show this change as yet, but do doubt it will follow shortly.

Fantastic - but this doesn't mean I'll be letting up on the WAIX traffic at all! :)

Whats the download plan set to now?

iinet as I mentioned to you in person have unlimited peak and off peak, originally it was 16gb/16gb but I think if you were hammering the system even now they shape you but I cant even hammer 16gig peak or off peak, even downloading games at 4gb a pop or movies, software there just isnt that much that I need.

It hasn’t reflected in the MyAccount page yet ‘cos it’s not taking effect until the 1st of Sept (according the email I got anyways). :)

WestNet also offer “unlimited” download limits.

There is a quota for each account; in Lambie’s case he will have 20GB/20GB. Once you hit your quota you are shaped for the remainder of the month. You can choose to stay unshaped and pay for additional traffic.

Not sure when the My Account page will be modified to reflect the changes.

Assume that when you’re choosing a $49.95 plan on My Account it will be the $49.95 plan on the website.

It’s in the myaccounts page now, but obviously takes effect on the 1st of the month.
